The Fleur de lis quilt is done!
part of the RSC16
I quilted curves on the bird blocks and did a bean shape in the middle, which came natural when I had to get to the small triangle on the block.
Around the Fleur de lis blocks I did bubbles on the sashing and left the block alone otherwise
On the border I did curves and a small loopy ribbon on the inner border.
I think it’s a blind hem stitch that I used for the binding- I liked it 
The backing is not totally scrappy, just one different fabric in the middle
I machine embroidered the label which I designed in Embrilliance Essentials and imported a fleur de lis file from Marjorie (Accuquilt)- it’s just gorgeous and I wish I had it with the blocks, but too late now
