It was predicted that we’d get 5-8” of snow, then it changed to less, then to more and I think we ended up getting 3-4” of course all the weekend plans had to be cancelled! No church service, no Church Christmas party Sunday night and also town parade in the after- though I wasn’t really planning on going, but maybe….middle school band concert got postponed to Wednesday now at 8pm (late!)

I show this on instagram every day, but just like in years past, I’ve made a lego advent calendar for the kids. I buy a big lego set and split it up so they each get a few pieces each day until Christmas, and of course I follow the manual so they slowly build whatever building it is…
They already know it’s minecraft!
This time I included Anja, she just gets a few big pieces and we help tell her where the pieces go.

I’m a red head now!!
I actually like it! It’s not the first time I’ve been a red head, but it’s been YEARS! so the kids were kind of surprised! (yeah it’s just from a box) and I didn’t do my hair fancy, this is shortly after doing it, so it was still damp but you get the idea!
I’ve been sewing on things too, some secret projects, some are just old projects, also the rainbow color of the month blocks!
I wouldn't have thought about red hair for you, but it really looks GREAT on you. Enjoy the snow day/no school day.

There is a Lego Minecraft quilt along (past) over on Kelly's blog. She designed it for her son. I can't use color out of a box, it turns my hair carrot orange no matter what shade I try to use. My hairdresser has to make a special 'brew' for my hair.
