I finished a customer’s quilt, the last quilt on my Funquilter
Here the lady who made it, had just pieced the top, but wanted me to finish the backing and add binding too after quilting it.
She wanted just basic meandering which was done in a lavender thread
The binding ended up scrappy as the yardage that was left was maybe 6″ of different colors so I cut two strips of a bunch of different fabrics, the look is really cool!
She just provided a long yardage of batik and then this log piece in the middle, but I figured out that even with the yardage cut in half and the logs in the middle, it wouldn’t be enough, so I found another batik from her pile and added borders to the logs and it worked out great!
a fun quilt to work on!
