It’s time for the farmer’s wife QAL block T
Block S is the last block on the 4th row and it’s #69 in the book and it’s called Morning and is on pages 79 and 184
To make the block cut out the following
with Grey cut out (1) of #1, (4) of #4 and (4) of #8
with Light Blue cut out (4) of #2 and (8) of #5
With Medium Blue cut out (8) of #4 and (4) of #2
Sew together the #4 triangles and #5 light blue triangles in the corners like this (4)
also make an uneven nine patch block like this with grey and light blue
Then add the remaining #2 Medium squares to two of the strips and sew 2 of triangle strips to top and bottom and the longer ones to the sides
And the block is done! mine wasn’t totally flat but I pressed it into submission when I sewed the quilt together!
On pages 76-79 is a city girl who married a farmer and learned to love the farmer’s wife life! Isn’t it easy to just complain and things in your life rather than doing something about it? It reminds me of a episode on “The apprentice” where the team lead for that project sat in the board room with Trump and the others and the guy complained about this and that and the blonde lady next to Trump said, I something like “I don’t wanna know how bad your team is, if something on your team is bad FIX IT!” – I think the guy got “fired”! LOL
