Another customer quilt- a big D9P quilt in Grey and Reds

She gave me free reign on the design, and she loves my feathers and swirls which I actually thought would look the best!

And I was looking at my UFO pile- or rather putting this back on the shelf after SOMEONE pulled it down for the 10th time

I decided to work on the appliqued border on the bubblegum quilt

I stitched down the vine and then ironed down the flowers and leaves

I’ve stitched down maybe 1/3 of the shapes, I’m doing raw edge applique after I decided to do a straight top stitch on the vine.

While Sonja was sleeping I also switched my shelves around a bit, my magazines were on the bottom right shelf and SOMEONE kept pulled them out and wrinkling the pages!!

So I moved the batting to the floor behind the frame, then moved the red scrap fabric containers down, scrap batting on the bottom shelf too (though they do have pins with papers to keep track of sizes, we’ll see if she even wants to look at them)

Go dies are on the 3rd shelf and magazines above those

I moved my pin cushions in front of the magazines

A cute basket for zippers and buttons for now

And I finished the other set of clothing for Sonja, same pattern just the “dress” is shorter, so it’s a shirt and then shorts and the same hat I’ve made a few weeks ago, here I didn’t use interfacing and it turned it into a floppy hat
