Yesterday I met with two of my close friends for lunch, it was my friend Danielle’s birthday, so we celebrated with sushi 🙂
years ago I made her a pair of potholders where you add your fingers inside and fold it, and she’s been hinting at another but the binding was always clunky to me, I just didn’t like it, then I found this embroidery file online and figured I’d try it for one for her (I only made one and wasn’t sure about it, but she loved it and I have fabrics cut for another matching one, so I’ll work on that for her soon)
This was all IN THE HOOP on the embroidery machine, in two hoopings, so not hard, but I’m not loving the edges of it, it’s ok, but I don’t know, I trimmed VERY close to the stitching before it did the satin stitching but it’s still showing the insul brite.
and the back of it shows the bobbin thread which I can only do in white, the rest was a beige gold color, so very pale so it didn’t matter that much.
well Danielle loved it and wants the other one, so that’s good!
