Elephants on parade table runner

Did you see this cute table runner on Accuquilt’s blog?

It’s a fun and quick table runner made with the Elephant die

I just think this one is ADORABLE!!

and shape #2 (3” finished square) from the 12” qube set, or shape #1 from the 6” qube set

and I also used 1 1/2” and 2 1/2” strip cutter dies

fabrics are Le pavot by Moda and they are just lovely

I made two sets of bow tie blocks like this

I machine embroidered the elephant using the free embroidery file that comes with the die (on the site)

and soon enough the table runner was done!

I quilted curves on the bowties and squiggle lines on the border and a leaf vine on the outer border

It measures 19” x 31” when done and went together quickly!
