I finished my neighbors Eagles quilt and she just picked it up.
she loved it 🙂
I did a lightning on the outer border, the eagles logo with the lightning or whatever that is on the sides, gave me the idea.
the beak gave me the idea for the wave. claw for the grey border.
And the eagles have been quilted 🙂
Yesterday afternoon I also made the march BOM for pine tree guild in cary, I think it turned out cute!
Now I’ve googled ideas and someone also emailed me ideas for a jelly roll quilt, but I think I just really had my mind set on the jelly roll race, then I found this link
and I have some solid black that I will use for the 2 1/2″ squares inbetween, I think that will look GREAT!
I do have to go to my son’s classroom now and help with a valentine’s party, so it’ll have to wait until we all get back.
