When I went to my quilt guild and met about our BOM’s for next year, they were talking about donation quilts and how they need more quilters.
I used to grab some once in a while, but it had been a long time- or so I thought, so I grabbed 4, here’s the first 2
A fun pinwheel quilt
I did some long drops –sort of, design.
This one was FPPed, do you see how the blocks are placed on the quilt?
I tried to do lines WITHOUT a ruler on the blocks and meandering on the green and lines and a vine on the borders
Last week I also got another shipment of fabrics from Island batiks!
DROOL!! now I need to “think” about WHAT to make with them.
I’m working on 3 secret quilts for them and I named one “Let’s dance” and then I found this dancing bear on my computer and embroidered it on the quilt label.
Lovely charity quilts, beautiful batiks and what a cute label. That bear is so sweet. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create with these lovely fabrics.SewCalGalwww.sewcalgal.blogspot.com
I absolutely LOVE that FPP quilt, I don't know why stars do it for me, but they do! The layout is great too. Another triumph Bea, not sure how you could bear to part with it though.
Beautiful bundle of fabrics and that little label is the cutest Bea!!
Wonderful quilts, love the fabrics!!
Good for you, helping to get those cute donation quilts finished, Bea! Can't wait to see what you make using that gorgeous pile of batiks!
They both look good!
That little dancing bear is sew cute. Awesome charity quilts. You're good!
