This week I’ve been doing a lot of cutting and prepping kits for myself and also sewing of course 🙂
Here I used tan and red scraps and the Accuquilt Pineapple die to cut out 6 blocks then red, tan and blue and the 10″ qube set to cut out setting blocks.
I then used the 6″ QUBE set and cut out some Limoncelli scraps from MMF to make a little table runner- wait and see the big quilt I made with this fabric line.
then I used the storm at sea die to try and cut an on-point quilt, we’ll see how that turns out 🙂
And also the storm at sea die and Tuscany scraps from MMF to make a smaller quilt- wait to see the main quilt I made from this line too!
Then I got out one of my favorite quilt books called Twist on Bargello and cut a bunch of strips
You still sew strips together like a bargello quilt but then cut into blocks and twist and turn those, it’s a very cool method!
I am finishing up other projects too but this should keep me busy for a while 🙂
I’ll be interested in seeing how the storm at sea on point turns out. Looks really cool!
thanks, I’m curious too! now realized that on my my fabrics were kinda directional, well goldilocks and bears and houses….oh well they’ll be slanted.
That bargello technique sounds interesting. I’ll be watching to see how that turns out.
