Dog and Cat version of Wild World quilt

I recently finished this fun version of my Wild World Quilt pattern

The Wild World pattern makes 8″ blocks but this time I used FQs and the 6″ QUBE to cut out the pieces, then I figured out that I had enough fabrics, plus I added the turquoise as a border and for some of the block pieces, plus a white print I thought would match as the inner border.

So now the quilt measures 33″ x 39″ a cut baby size.

The FQ bundle I had was fun and funky! Here’s all the cut pieces.

I quilted the quilt with a turquoise thread and the pattern is called “water dance” by intelligent quilting

For the back I used some leftover cat fabric and I also had enough of that for the binding.

This is such a fun pattern too where I love the secondary pattern it creates with the alternate blocks and I’ve made several versions of it and each is SO different looking! You can get the pattern here.

you can also get the fall KIT until the end of Oct!

(Fin. 40″ x 48″)

  1. How many fat quarters did you use in the wild world quilt? I recently joined your fat quarter group. Knowing how many fat quarters are required would make choosing a pattern easier.
