Did you see the new camper die??

It’s so cute!!

I was asked by Accuquilt again to design a quilt around this new die and immediately I was thinking retro!!

and since I’m now an ambassador for Michael Miller I found this cute fabric line called delight

I prepped all the pieces with steam a seam and got ready to cut

I just laughed when I looked at this brown fabric…. I’ll leave you to YOUR imagination! but those are some “interesting” flowers!!

anyways….. the pieces cut out perfectly

At first I thought I’d use Marjorie Busby’s embroidery set

Look how cute that stitched out!!

But Accuquilt just wanted their “free” files instead, so I did those

(and I did something else with the fancy campers, just wait and see)

With the free files, there’s 3 different options for the stitching so I did one of each in each color!

Here’s the completed quilt in my studio! It turned out great and I used a simple pantograph to quilt all over and also scrappy binding!
