Of course I was like a kid at Christmas! ripping open the box and opening each die and uhhh-ing and ahhh-ing over them.

Look here for the new dies!

Here’s the dies I got

Flowering snowball

Looks NEAT, looks tricky but I bet it’s not, soft curves and little indents to line up the fabrics, can’t wait to try this one.

Schoolhouse

it’s appliqued and looks SO neat!

Kite block (hummingbird)

This one is SEW cool too, I’ve done a few hummingbird quilts before, but used paper templates and that was tricky to cut, I know these will be super easy!

Lastly the cupcakes

just fun and funky and two different “toppings”

I’m also participating in a Blog Hop for these new dies next week.

Just wait and see, lots of COOL projects!

Which die do you think I’ll feature? and which one is YOUR favorite new one?

  1. The kite block. I would love to have that one!! I want to make a string quilt using that block and cutting with this would be amazing!

  2. I am ready for the KITE block. I am going to do a picnic quilt for my son in his school colors with it. Can't wait to see what you do.

  3. I like the kite block. Oh, can you use EQStitch with the cupcakes? That would be fun as appliques.

I think you'll go for the Flowering Snowball, those blocks would be a Holy Nightmare to cut by hand but will look beyond stunning when joined in a quilt, UNLESS you're in the mood for a little applique then it'll be the Schoolhouse. Am I the only one who comes over all "Little House on the Prairie" when looking at that die and picturing the block?
