Did get one quilt done and more fabrics arrived

I finished the quilt for McCalls this weekend, I’m very pleased with it. too bad I can’t show much

these are about all I can show….. the border and the backing after it’s quilted

I actually quilted with 3 colors of thread, green for the border, orange for the inner border and white on the main part

this is the back of the quilt you can see the orangle bubbles better

Now THESE lovely fabrics arrived from Riley Blake for the McCall’s quilt #2

They are sooo cute and will fit perfectly with this pattern I made.

look at this one! it’s called vintage baby I think the stores will get the bolts next month, not sure.

I also decided to re-organize a little, I needed to slowly empty out the baby JUNK room. I had tons of scrapbook albums in there, the only place to put them would be my craft room and now that the kids got their own craft table, I empties the shelves and dumped everything on THEIR table now, don’t the shelves/cubbies look so nice now?

now THEIR table is a mess, but I tried to stack everything up against the wall for now until either hubby builds some shelves or I buy something for it.

then I moved the scrapbooks into the cubbies, these are just HALF of them, the rest I added later.

On the shelf above the cubbies I will display various pin cushions that I’ve made or were given to me, I’m starting a collection! these two owls are SPARES I might give away one day, we’ll see 🙂
