It’s time to sew those HSTs into block sections!
Follow the pattern and sew 4 sets of 4+4 HSTs together from the piles we matched up last week, if the fabric is direction like this black text fabric, then you get 2 blocks of each like this
I tried to alternate if the black text triangles should be in the center or on the outside of the blocks! I really did that with all the fabrics and I think it worked out ok
If the fabrics are not directional it’s easy enough to just sew the HSTs together the same way, like I did at the bottom right of the picture, I made 8 where the yellow bees are on the outside/upper left and the set next to it has the bees on the inside/bottom right
Here’s 12 sets of 4 blocks
before putting in the bin, I then matched up ONE #2 square with each set
AND 4 of #8 rectangles to each set, because I didn’t cut any in the black text fabric I only had 5 fabrics to work with so I couldn’t just use each fabric twice, instead I had to use 2 fabrics 3 times, but it all worked out I think.
Back in the bin they go!
Bee happy until next week!

And I’m already behind! On everything in this, and in my blog hop work, and in other things. Grrr! I hope I can catch up, even if I’m a month or two late finishing.
