Customer’s quilt and ahhhh and I need help

This is the EPP part of RUTH, there’s still some circle stuff and background things, I DID make the alternate RUTH last week.

I put the playpen into my studio

Sonja likes it in there 🙂

well, maybe not ALL the time, it’s so frustration when toys are out of reach of if she tumbles over

My husband has been painting the bonus room that’s right next to my “studio” it’s a dark bluish grey.

AND we got snow saturday! BIG fluffy flurries- nothing that stuck much though.

Sonja was outside with Daddy- she was giggling at it.

figured, it’s about time to show a picture of me too 🙂

Here’s a friend’s UNC T-shirt quilt

I quilted feathers and swirls- she always picks this design 🙂

and I finished Ahhhh #9 starburst

I like how the lacy looking fabric created a little triangle/ diamond secondary design.

I STILL have the giveaway open!!

I’m doing it to reach 500 and it’s been stuck at 499 all weekend!!

there’s 2 giveaways, one to current followers and one to #500, so come on, help spread the word!

and have a look at the flower quilt- well I soaked it in water for a while to remove the papers from FPP- this was my first time I think I ever did FPP so my stitches were long, so it was a pain to remove the papers, well guess what! I forgot about it… the water evaporated and while cleaning up the bonus room over the weekend, I saw brown spots on the quilt- it got moldy!

EWWW, so it got trashed! oh well….

  1. You are at 500 now! Congratulations. I love the lacy looking fabric in that block too. So fun that the baby laughed at the snow.

  2. Aww,,,,such a great pic of you and Sonja. I love the star blocks. The fabric makes a wonderful secondary design.

  3. Congrats on #500, Bea. How sad about the flower quilt. : (Your paper piecing is amazing!

You have had a busy weekend. Glad you posted the tshirt quilt. It reminded me that I really need to get in motion and start my niece's. Sorry to hear about the flower quilt.

Wow – I've never heard of a quilt getting moldy! What a terrible thing to happen!I LOVE your diamond EPP block! And you are right, that lacy look is simply amazing, especially the way it looks like two hst's instead of a diamond :*)My son would love that UNC quilt! He's a huge fan! I don't think he has any t-shirts though, so no way I'm making him a quilt like that.Great family photos! Our littlest grandson saw snow for the first time Sunday and fell in love! He was fascinated!
