today I got around to quilting a customer’s fish quilt.
love the bright colors and I had to order new thread to have it match (bummer!? LOL)
a simpler block with striped tails and appliqued eyes, really cute!
I cut out a fin out of cardboard and traced that with washable marker and white chalk onto the fish, quilted on the lines and a small one inside each fish.
the square of the fish I did ruler work along the inside edge and also going down the middle right at the beginning of the stripes.
Did a dense meandering on the blue/turquoise background,
bubbles on the black border and a wave on the outside border.
look at this backing fabric too, isn’t it cute?!
