It’s a new year and I am planning on releasing or highlighting new patterns on Fridays.
Today I’ll be highlighting a pattern,
over Christmas I gave my “testers” a break, but I have several patterns in the works 🙂
This is “My crazy cat’s quilt” BL139
It’s Accuquilt friendly (of course I always include rotary cutting directions too) The pattern uses the 12″ QUBE but you can really use any qube you want, which is what I did here.
I had this funky floral yardage and found matching solids and cut out with my 8″ QUBE set and then added 2″ and 3″ finished borders (or something like that) so the quilt ended up being 35″ x 42″ a nice baby/small lap quilt.
I quilted a design called “plume” (UE) in an off white thread.
I was able to piece the backing out of leftover yardage from the front 🙂
The quilt is a fast and easy pattern and here’s some other color ideas!
