This week’s block is Maine!
What a tricky block! at first it provided templates and I had a hard time sewing those odd triangles together, so instead I redid it in EQ and printed it out for FPP and it’s much better.
Here’s some facts about Maine the Pine Tree state
(my sister in law lives there btw)

Most people love to look through the L.L. Bean catalogue, but most have no idea where that merchandise actually comes from. It comes from Maine, of course. The city of Freeport is the home of this popular manufacturer. (We love L.L.Bean from Maine)
Don’t Forget Your Parachute

Guns Required
If there is one thing you have never done in church, it probably has something to do with packing the heat. That is, unless you live in Maine. State law makes it a requirement to carry a gun to church in the event of an Indian attack.
If you’re keeping up with the block and making them, link up below and comment that you did.
Such a beautiful block, and fun facts post! I knew some, but not all! Love LL Bean! Love blueberries and Sal!
I've been to Maine once and of course love it there specifically for the lobster and the blueberries. We are planning a visit back there this summer.
Great idea, I'm a couple of weeks behind, will try to catch up before we leave for 4 month camping trip. Taking projects, but *not* the Covering America OR the Be Attitudes – too many fabrics needed for each and can't justify the space. Will join up when we get back.
