I finished this red and light blue version of my “Contained” quilt pattern

This was a pattern I created early on during Covid and I thought the name was also fitting because you’re containing the string scraps in the blocks.

The quilt measures 34″ x 42″ and I used the 4″ QUBE instead of the 6″ QUBE

For the four patch blocks I used this light blue floral fabric I had from Singapore! then solid white and a red dotted fabric

I quilted “Funky Flowers” by Urban Elementz all over it in light blue thread

The backing is more turquoise than light blue.

and notice the scrappy binding!
