I showed you these blocks already that I had machine embroidered years ago
and I finally got some coordinating Christmas fabrics from connecting threads.
I used my 9” QUBE set and cut out pieces
I trimmed the embroidered blocks and made them 9 1/2” to match the QUBE blocks
Here’s the 9” alternate block
and here’s the middle of the top
and added borders, a striped inner border and the dark print on the outer border- it looks black but it’s not really
and I made the binding strips from the strip as well, don’t you just love a striped binding??
now it’s ready to quilt!
That is a great setting to highlight the beautiful embroidery.
