I started this quilt in April, when it was still hard to get fabrics and I was making masks.
I used this pattern I wrote for Accuquilt a while ago but made it scrappy!
It’s made using the chimney sweep die and 10″ QUBE set, easy peasy!
I did have JUST enough black solid- so I must have cut this out before I made masks as many were asking for dark manly colors and I didn’t have any left.
And here’s the top all done- not a great picture…. Solveig saw it and said she liked it and wanted it for her room!
It was in my “to be quilted” pile for a while, it’s 53″ x 63″ so I didn’t have a backing for it for a while.
Finally I got a backing and had Solveig pick the thread color and the design called “diamonds” and she chose this angled grid design and blue thread!
The backing was a blue polka dotted fabric too!
After it was done we hung it in her room! She loves it!
It always amazes me the difference color ways make in what you ” set” in a pattern!
It looks great in her room.
