I’m embarrassed that I haven’t finished this project yet, and doing my weekly LISTS is a good reminder.
So this cute giraffe wall hanging, I bought in 2012 from hissyfitzdesigns at a local quilt show. The directions are for machine applique but I decided back then to needle turn it instead and that’s what’s slowing me down. and it’s hard to needle turn on such a BIG thing….
But there’s actually not THAT much more to do with it.
I pinned down some spots and have already stitched down a few and it will be my portable project for a while now.
Also I found the SNOW QAL row that Carol hosted a while ago and I found that I had already cut out the borders so it was easy to trim those down and sew on to make a table runner
and I quilted it with snowballs and nowflakes and SITD for the letters.
and I machine embroidered a label with a snowflake too
I’m glad to cross off one item off of my list and work on the other one.

I am so glad you finally showed your Giraffe, I've been wondering what it would look like. I have that pattern and no it is not started! I have another too that I should start-I love me some Giraffe's!
