Call me crazy!
I recently decided to dig into my pink scraps and then use the 1 1/2″ square die by Accuquilt and cut out a bunch of squares!
I do have a plan!
A nine patch baby quilt that’s 8 x 10 blocks and each block is 3″ finished.
Yeah it’s crazy!
But it’ll still be a rather small baby quilt.
But with one layer of pink I have enough for two blocks, so laying 8 fabrics at once and thru the machine I cut out enough pink for 16 blocks! then I did the same with scraps of white or white on white and quickly I had enough for 80 blocks and it hardly looked like I touched the pink scraps!
so my plan is to have matching sets like this and then scatter them in the quilt!
I’ve actually sewn quite a few already!
FUN FUN!
Well at least it was an attempt for using 'some' scraps, you get credit for that!
This is so cute and I can't wait to see it grow! I just was in a scrap cutting mood this week as well and I cut pieces and parts for three different scrappy projects!
