I started this quilt back in December.
December/January seems to be those months where I focus on using scraps or leftover yardage from my shelves.
One of my go-to patterns is Sweet Dreams
and it all started with this striped animal print I had on my shelf
And even though the pattern called for scraps and 5 colors, I looked at the pattern and matched up the SHAPES cut with the fabrics.
Here the striped fabric is supposed to be the same as the orange diamonds and orange squares, the blue stars are supposed to be the same as the outside of the diamond borders, so you can see I swapped stuff around and really just tried to match fabrics with the animal striped fabric!
I used the 6″ QUBE to cut out the pieces and the quilt finished at 36″ x 36″
The quilt design is called Spiral Maze by Urban Elementz
For the back I used this green mottled fabric I had on hand.
