I finished this bowtie quilt and HAD to show it now instead of the 15th for the GO! challenge
It’s all quilted and bound.
On the large black sections I drew a line every 2” which matches up with the bow tie blocks on the alternating blocks, then created a grid work and quilted curves corner to corner on those.
On the bowtie blocks I also quilted curves and then bubbles in the background
Here’s a picture of the back of the quilt, a fun orange dotted fabric!
I also made this fabric bowl from leftover fabrics from the owl quilt.
It’s pretty BIG compared to other bowls I’ve made before
I also decided to organize my tool caddy, as SOMEONE likes to re-organize it- not mentioning any names —— SONJA!!
So now it’s neat and OUT OF REACH, just annoying that I have to have it on the counter instead of next to my machine, oh well.
On to another GO! idea I had, so far so good and it’s ALL scraps! wait and see
Use of a oldie but goodie block in a modern style-LOVE it!
Such a creative use of this fun block

Your quilting is so creative…as always! Love the quilt. I'm such a rainbow "kick" right now.
Cute quilt Bea and great quilting! Your bowl is really neat too!
I love the big bowl! Have a happy day!
It looks great and ya gotta do what ya gotta do to keep little hands from getting in trouble.
