Book Lovers Day

Do you like reading books?

I LOVE to listen to Audio Books while sewing, though the plot can’t be too complicated in case I get distracted.

I love historical fiction or murder mystery books.

Currently I listening to “The New couple in 5B” it’s sort of a ghost story mystery about an apartment building in NY.

Before that I listened to “The crooked House” by Agatha Christie- I just bought the BlueRay for it too.

I also love series, but get frustrated when I’m 2-3 books into the series then find out my library doesn’t have the next book but maybe has book 6 or 8 or whatever, annoying.

A series I loved was the Stephanie Plum series where a young woman is a bounty hunter sort of and her sidekick is a very voluptuous black woman in high heels and TIGHT clothes- not idea for running after a bad guy, the audio book is hilarious because it’s the same person reading the lines but she gives different voices to the characters!

We read a lot of historial fiction books with Sonlight homeschooling and I really LOVE those books too.

I do have ONE pattern that’s book themed that I’ll have on sale until Sunday for $8

BOOK SWAP

And I also have KITS on sale

The small KIT is normally $40 on sale for $32

The large is normally $55 on sale for $45

Have you read the Meg Lanslow series by Donna Andrews? The first is Murder with Peacocks. The 34th in the series is coming out soon. Each book title is a play on birds. Fun murder mystery series with humor and wonderful characters. Oh, and Meg Lanslow is an artisan – a blacksmith!
