Blue version of Night Sky

I decided recently to make a small baby boy version of my night sky pattern (minus the border)

I used FQs from Connecting threads

If you’ve seen the progress pictures, I decided to rip out the column that was wrong and FIX it and I found an easy way to rip out!- you know the red ball dot on the end of the short side of the ripper, that’s supposed to go under the seam, between the fabrics, I had seen a video about it a while ago and remembered it and I tried it and for the most parts it went super fast!

I quilted a large meandering design in dark blue all over it.

I machine stitched down the binding and used a funny stitch (don’t know the name but I liked it!) and used variegated thread, the same I used for appliqueing down the circles in the blocks)

This quilt will go in the pile for donations, I like to have some blue and some pinks waiting, so I’m not in a rush if I get invited to a baby shower or someone has a baby Smile
