Bloggerversary and 2022 project list

 

It’s my BLOGGER-VERSARY!! I started this blog in 2010! That’s 12 years old- almost a teenager LOL!!

Did you know that today is National Puzzle day too???

To celebrate that CT publishing is having a promotion where you get a free mystery puzzle if you buy one puzzle, I just placed an order and with shipping I got 2 puzzles for less than $30!! I really like the Americana quilt puzzle, though it was hard to decide, there’s so many cute quilt puzzles!! I wonder which one I’ll get??

I started a new scrap project after watching the Accuquilt LIVE video this week, I have so many pineapple scraps already cut and I sorted them by size then found out that I really only need the center squares and corner triangles to make a quilt with 12 blocks, so I quickly cut those! and I’m having NO rules about the scrappy-ness of the blocks, so we’ll see how they turn out, might be terrible, but we’ll see.

I showed last weekend that Bjorn moved back to Wingate and we started moving Sonja into his room, first hubby painted it for her- she wanted a slate grey color! – she still needs shelves or cubbies but it’s a start.

Then hubby started on Anja’s room- the room they used to share and it’s HOT PINK- that’s what Anja wanted, it is BRIGHT!! but really cute 🙂 So now we can move her bed in here too- we’re actually buying another full sized mattress too and probably another bed frame too, again it’s a work in progress.

Oh and they are calling for more snow this weekend too 1-2″ AGAIN! CRAZY for NC!!
