I’m hopping again!!

another great blog hop by quilters gallery

Last time was SO much fun!

so come join the fun and click on everyone’s blogs and have a change to win lots of goodies.

(I won several nice little things, like charms, patterns etc.)

so here’s my give away

I was wrecking my pregnant brain with that to give away.

so I came up with this:

A stuffed owl pin cushion ( I make these and have gotten lots of comments about them) YOU PICK THE COLOR!! I machine applique these now- this one is the first one I ever made and I changed the way I do it now.

A mini pattern for a table runner and mini quilt

and a few FQs

here’s a few newer owls I made to show what the applique and eyes look like now

You don’t HAVE to use it as a pin cushion, lots of kids like these, but lots of adult quilters do too 🙂

As he likes the animal pincushions and I'm not allowed to be mean and poke them with pins except during construction.     I am a follower. I love this owl. I have a 4 yr old son who loves "squishies" ie stuffed whatnots, so I'm afraid right now of using it as a pin cushion for fear of him scooping him up. BUt, Hootie would be great in appearing on my sewing table as a reminder for my son to "Give a Hoot and be careful cause Mommy is sewing". Then in a couple years, when he assists me more in the sewing process, we'll use him as a pincushion and pin away! Great owl!
