Remember how last month I had used a $10 gift card for some embroidery files!? I showed one pincushion already and here’s another fun one!
I had fun playing with my camera!
I was also in the mood last week to make a blazing star die and use up some of my “old” Island Batik fabrics, as we’re getting a new shipment this week!!
Orange and purple are not really colors I like but they go well together and I added a solid yellow for the background
This is how many blocks I got from 1/2yd or less of each batik and then about 1 1/2yd yellow I think
and after cutting out the star sections I had parts of 4” strips left over, I cut those down to 2” and randomly added them as an outer border.
And here’s some Anja pics- now that she’s 3 months old I went thru 2 huge BINS of 3-6m clothes and found several crocheted sweaters I had made- some for Sonja and some for Solveig that I thought I had lost or given away
better with the curtains drawn
And Barbara sent me this picture of her EQ shirt that she won!!

Anja is really delightful would love a cuddle. Pin cushion looks good and the star quilt is very striking
