I finally finished quilting this black and white scrap quilt!

Remember it was a leader and ender project for a long time and it was in Bonnie Hunter’s newest string quilt book but I didn’t do strings, I used my GO cutter and dies instead and her version was green and neutral, I did black and white but flipped the colors and chose black print and white print (not white solid or blenders but those prints on white that don’t really go with anything when you need white scraps)

I used a grid panto on my QCT Juki machine and used a black thread

I also used black scrap binding, any black binding I had in my binding scrap bin!!

For the backing I found I had a big chunk of this odd floral, so since it’s a white background, why not use that!?

It measures 62 x 76″

I’ll donate this quilt

Very nice quilt – I really like this black and white scrap quilt. What did Bonnie call it. I can’t seem to find any info on it other than it is in her latest scrap book. Is that right? I think I”d like to make it my leader and ender project as you did. Love the quilting pattern you used, too. Thanks for sharing, Bea! Prayers for your mom.
