I can’t remember when I started cutting out the pieces for this quilt but it was before COVID, because I remember thinking if I should cut into the rest of the yardage for the quilt to make masks and decided to keep it all in the bin with the cut pieces
The quilt is made using my Birds of a feather quilt pattern
This pattern is foundation paper pieced and you really have to pay attention to the fabric placements, it’s not hard though.
It’s a 4×4 block layout and I think it was at this point I stopped liking this quilt, that blue print is just too much.
The quilt ends up being 34″ x 34″ I omitted the diamonds in the borders, I used the pink for binding

The backing is a pale purple print and it’s quilted with pale purple thread too
