Bible blocks, kitschy block and fabrics!

Here’s last week’s Women of the bible Quilt Block

This is Rachel, I did FPP on this one and cut some triangles a bit too small so my seam allowance is small but it will work once it’s sewn into the quilt.

The blocks are 3 1/2” so 3” when in the quilt

Here’s March’s Kitschy BOM, a bowl and spoon.

The other day my new neighbor came over and wanted me to embroider a wide ribbon for her for a baby shower, I had never done it before, but my machine worked like a charm!

And this week I got my fabrics from Connecting threads, II ‘m working on a new quilt pattern that also incorporates machine embroidery (any designs that’s 5” x 7”) I’m still looking for testers who have embroidery machines!!!

Let me know!

And Sonja is getting into “trouble” again this week, she found some EPP flowers and put them on her head like a cape or playing peek a boo!

and she took this picture with my camera, I guess that’s what I get for leaving it on my table WITHIN reach!

This one I saw on FB and I thought it was funny, better start getting Sonja ready for carrying fire wood!? well, just saying my kids are WAY too spoiled, no way are they doing a fraction of this stuff for their age group, let alone anything below their age group, hmmm need to change that!

  1. The Bible blocks look great. Sister's choice is my favorite block, but I am not making it in that size! =)

  2. Hi Bea! You never disappoint on your Sew Kitschy! Beautifully coordinated. How do you manage all that you do in your life? Hut ab, bravo!

  3. The blocks are beautiful, Sonja looks way to cute in her cape lol it's the 4 legged monkeys that run off with things here. The embroidery looks beautiful, I clicked on the photo and could see it better.Peg xx

  4. I like her picture. You should let her take more and see what she comes up with. Some of my kids' photos are great.
