Bible blocks, bibs and fabrics

I finished two more Women of the bible blocks.

This one is Leah, called double crossed.

She was double crossed after being promised in marriage but then her dad tricked the husband into marrying her sister after working 7 yrs, so then he had to work another 7 yrs before getting Leah…

I didn’t applique stitch this yet as I want to wait until all the blocks are done.

Since I’m doing a straight layout, last time I needed more blocks, this one is an “extra” called sister’s choice.

I used Island Batik for both blocks!

Then I also got a shipment of fabrics from Connecting threads and when I wased the fabrics I couldn’t remember WHY I had purchased these, I knew I had a project in mind, but forgot what it was, until a day or so later!

The lunch box embroidered baby quilt!!

Then mid week last week my neighbor dropped by with some bibs she wanted me to embroider on.

Her daughter had written out specifics about each one and what color and font (sort of) and also a onesie.

  1. 2 good blocks, must look at the WOB ones have printed them off but then just filed them, bit concerned that there is applique might just to pass on those. What delightful sayings on the bibs a great job you did on them

  2. You either have the name or the story about Rachel and Leah wrong. Rachel is the one who had to wait an extra 7 years as her father substituted Her sister Leah for her during the wedding.

Are these more tiny blocks like last year? Those bibs are cute, and your cupcake is looking gorgeous. Hope that you are all well, no more flu type germs around.
