Bible block and Blue Blocks

In between my blue blocks, I worked on this Women of the bible block- Rachel. I used batiks from Island Batik.

I started to incorporate other “neutrals” into the blocks.

Here I used the KITE GO die and lots of black with blue kites ( I already cut out all the blacks needed for a whole quilt, just to make sure I had enough)

This is my EQ idea with 10 colors, 2 of each.

I also did some “crumb” snowball blocks and nie patches

With this as the idea, 3 of each block for each color and 8 colors for now.

And I embroidered a scissor pouch using a file from embroidershoppe.

Not sure if I’ll keep it or what, I just made it for fun!

  1. What a super cute owl pouch. And many beautiful blocks. I'm doing nothing just no.

  2. some nice projects here shame on me not done one of the Women of the Bible blocks yet. The scissor keeper is pretty and practical and all your blue blocks are coming along a treat

  3. So many great projects. Looks like you are keeping everything moving forward and organized. That can be the hard part.

You are on a roll. I am especially drawn to your Snowballs. Think I am going to have to bite the bullet and try some crumbs.
