Bee DNA quilt is done

I actually finished quilting this BEFORE I did the HUGE customer quilt, and this one was easy!

I just quilted a large all over meandering in black thread.

Now could I give this as a baby boy quilt or is that a NO NO to give a baby quilt with black in it??

Here’s Sonja inspecting it after a shower (and un-brushed hair LOL)

Now I try to not stand too much each day, and I try to have my feet up in the afternoon and evenings 🙂

Here we’re hanging out in hubby’s office/ man cave!

not a really attractive picture 😛

  1. I love the quilt, and I think it would make a great baby quilt. I think new mothers like brighter quilts and are not decorating their baby's room with pastels as much as they used to. I've seen jelly roll quilts with just a square inserted, but I love the idea of the two colors.

Beautiful quilt Bea and I think it would make a perfect quilt for a boy. You look pretty comfy in that photo!! Cute 🙂

  3. Such a beautiful quilt, so cheerful and happy, I certainly think you could give it to a child.

  4. It looks great and you've got to do what is best for you and the baby so if that means resting a lot, then so be it.
