asian quilt top and customer’s quilt done

yesterday afternoon and this morning I’ve gotten a few more things done- quilting wise 🙂

I pulled out the black and white and red asian looking blocks and sewed them together into a 5 x 7 layout

I had 36 blocks, so I have one orphan block now, sorry you didn’t make the cut!

I had some leftover kona black from the QR quilt for my husband and cut 4 1/2″ strips and added those, but now the black in the blocks look greyish or washed out, hmph! oh well…

I’m also part of a funky block swap and march is MY month, so I have the fabrics and things all cut out, and directions printed

yesterday I mounted this customer quilt on my frame and this morning I quilted it

I did an all over design on large flowers and leaves

and this is my lunch today, leftover chili! yummy.
