Now she’s about 13lbs, just fitting into 3-6m clothes.
She is adorable and growing! I certainly understand about smaller babies. My children were full term babies and they each weighed 6 lbs 15 ozs. They were the smallest babies in the nursery except the preemies. Someone bought me a couple of preemie outfits for my son (my first) because newborn clothes swamped him. My doctor thought my daughter would be a little larger, NO – same exact weight and 1/2" longer. They always wore the size clothes they were in age. People would be talking about the size of clothing their children were wearing and the children were basically the same age as mine and the other children were at least two sizes larger. My son was in the 5th percentile height and 10th weight. So, since he was proportional, I was told not to worry about it. He was very small and being a boy, he was bullied about it. I took him to a specialist who told me that he would be short like me, tall like his father (6' 7") or somewhere in between. I was not pleased. I thought that was the specialist was supposed to be able to determine when he was six. Then, both my daughter's sons were born prematurely and the second was born earlier than the first. So, they stayed in the hospital for quite a long time. They have been blessed with no effects of the premature births. You are on a great path with this precious one. She is happy (except maybe with prunes). Thanks for sharing all the pictures and how wonderful she is. You have been richly blessed.
