An Ahhhh table topper mystery top

2014-04-03 009

Last week I finished this Mystahhhry topper.

Tonya had a mystrahry here

though I didn’t get my paper pieces in time and was just busy, when I got them I already knew what it would look like, but still I love her Ahhh’s

So I found this fabric and sort of fussy cut the striped fabric and that was a “mystery” to see how it would go together.

Tonya has LOTS of fun Ahhhh’s in her store.

I’ve actually made a quilt already but can’t show it! shh!

(With one of each of the first 50 ahhhh’s)

But as you can see you can easily make some cute ones too with the same hexie and put them together into a cool secondary design.

You can find her shop here

Hillbilly Handiworks

Now Tonya suggested to quilt it up to 1/4” from the edge, then trim the backing 1/4” all the way around too and fold in-between and then whip stitch together, I DO want to try that, but wonder how I’d long arm quilt that!

-I’m not good at hand quilting… we’ll see Smile
