almost a forgotten green quilt

I almost forgot to show this quilt, but after doing the quilting posts this weekend about Island Batik and GO quilts, I remembered this quilt and couldn’t find it on any blog posts and I remembered that I had submitted it to a magazine and it had gotten turned down and I just forgot to blog about it. (Usually I just submit EQ sketches but this one I really liked so I decided to make it regardless of what their reply would be.

I named it GO Green and made it into a pattern but still need testers!

If you’d like to be a tester for this one and others, comment below

it’s 52 x 66” and I used the GO 4” kite and 4” triangle in a square dies plus 2 1/2” square dies and 2 1/2” strip die, but the pattern also has templates and rotary directions.

I used “ugly” greens for the backing- a way to be GREEN literally!!

I tried a funky stitch on the binding and something new for quilting on the sashing too
