We haven’t done much this week, I’ve been without a phone for 10 days- after it pushed an update on my phone about 2 weeks ago, the next day I was away from home and found out the internet didn’t work anymore, only on wifi! after chatting with my carrier for over an hour and then with Samsung for an hour, factory reset the phone and other things, it was determined I had to send it in for repairs, I followed the tracking and the update on the repair and they found NOTHING wrong, I panicked and chatted with samsung again online, they assured me it was fixed (maybe there was stuff I couldn’t see about the repair ticket on my end) I got my phone back the other day, and the internet didn’t work! chatted again for an hour and demanded that I get a new phone now, I’ve had problems with it before and switched carriers because I thought it was them, anyway long story, hubby took off my OTTER case and then the internet worked! so I kept it off for the day, then we had a Co-op to go to and while there, the internet didn’t work on my phone without a case, so I have to still send it back! The phone is only 1yr old! soooo frustrating!! Hopefully they’ll be able to help me out this time. Well I skyped my mom to wish her Merry Christmas, as I’m sure they’ll have the phone over Christmas. I really don’t go out much, so I’ll survive another 2 weeks without one, I do miss my games though and my camera! My kids are home, so I can borrow Solveig’s phone and take pictures of my quilting stuff and email it to myself, I did that the last 2 weeks! My close friends have my email, and hubby’s # so they can call him I guess. Yeah 21st century problem, right??I should be Thankful for how Blessed me are, the tree is up and LOTS of presents are under the tree already, so a broken/missing phone is not really that big of a deal in the big scheme of things!
Yesterday we went to Walmart and I got a few oranges and cloves and showed the kids how to make these Christmas orange ornaments, they had never seen them before, I grew up making those every year, maybe it’s just a Scandinavian thing?
They SMELL so NICE!!!
-side note, I just googled this and found a nice site here explaining it- also found another site that mentioned Witchcraft, never heard of THAT before about oranges, anyways, these are called pomanders!
I also finished this Nativity scene 1000pc puzzle! We got this last year around Christmas time when we were at the beach, but saved it until this year, I had forgotten about it and started it right after setting up decorations etc. on Black Friday, so it took over 2 weeks ! But now it’s DONE!! I might give it to my mother-in-law now to make- if she wants it.
