2021 project list week 49 and Advent Calendar Dec 11th

So last Friday, Solveig got her level 2 driving permit, so now she can drive by herself and with 1 friends (or all siblings), she was a bit nervous Monday morning driving by herself, but she did fine and the confidence quickly returned! – yeah she doesn’t look thrilled! LOL

When she got her license, we also went to Hobby Lobby to celebrate and just get in the Christmas mood! I did get carried away a bit when I saw a fabric sale! Pretty much I got these for $5 a yard, I have no plans for them but there’s a Paris one I might use for a pattern and then there was a coffee print and a bee print, I just couldn’t leave those behind!!

And then this week I got my black Friday order from connecting threads, the most of these I have planned for a pattern already, the rest are for backings for quilts I believe.

And last weekend I talked hubby into taking apart the girl’s bunk beds so they’d have two twin beds, it’s a tight squeeze in the room but they love it! Now the pets can be in their beds, though the cats would often jump up on the highest bed to get away from Chewy, but now Sonja got Chewy and Swiffer (the gray cat) to actually lie down next to each other and Chewy sniffs Swiffer, Swiffer doesn’t LOVE it, but tolerates it! well it’s a step in the right direction 🙂
