A Quick QUBE table topper from FQs

I was looked in EQ and with my fabric stash still dwindling drastically, I am to the point where I am starting to dig into my FQ bundles, some bundles have already been partially used so I was just looking for ideas I came across this this and have made it with the 8″ QUBE

I guess I had made two because I also found an old blog post here

Both the links above should show how to cut out everything, well I wanted to make a smaller version with just two blocks on point and with the 6″ QUBE because then the border could also be made with the 20″ width of a FQ!

so I set to work!

I love how small these blocks are!

and since the blocks are on point, I also added the side triangle blocks and assembled them into two blocks.

then added the border (2″ cut) it now measures 11 1/2″ x 20 1/2″

and I was able to cut 4 strips from a black FQ and use for binding as well!

I quilted on my domestic in pink thread and stayed about 1/4″ from the seams

I have it listed in my Etsy shop here

a fun project to make in just a day!

I listed it for sale here
