A new Peasant dress

I finished another Peasant dress for Sonja.

The pattern I used is from peek a boo pattern shop

I was actually looking for a white fabric with blue on it for something else and found this teddy bear fabric and thought it would make a cute dress and then wit the matching light blue top fabric.

Sonja loved it!

remember for Easter 2014 I made both my girls matching dresses here

Kind of funny I sort of flipped the colors (blue and white) and I omitted the sashing as they rarely wore them with these dresses.

Now I should make another one for Solveig!?

  1. such a cutie and the dress looks lovely, can see how she is enjoying modelling it for the camera

Super cute dresses. Love the effect of the bodice in a different fabric, especially the ones with the white bodice.

  3. Your daughter is adorable and a great model. Maybe sashing fabric could be made into hair ribbons, shoe ties, or even a purse. I think a purse with an interchangeable fabric sash would work well and then you wouldn't have to make a new one with each dress. I enjoy your posts!
