a Little kid quilt

I recently finished this little mini kid quilt.

I was looking thru my quilt books and found this Civil War Legacies book

I’m not into reproduction fabrics but I can still get inspired by the blocks 🙂 so I found this quilt and thought it was a neat block

Then I grabbed this cute kid print (which I can’t use for masks anyways as most mask wearers are adults)

I did a bit of reverse engineering and cut out the pieces with the 6″ QUBE set

and sewed pieces together

and into 2 stacks of 8 blocks, some had white centers some had the kid print.

I quilted a funky all over pattern and added green binding.

The quilt is 30″ x 30″ done

It’ll go in the donate pile for later 🙂

  1. Sweet quilt. I like the colors and quilting. I’m with you. Not much into the Civil War fabrics but I have seen some pretty quilts with them just not my thing. You did a great job of course make this quilt in kid friendly colors.
