I’ve been working on patterns mostly and homeschooling so not so much sewing, though when I sew I get in a groove and listen to audio books now on youtube (after my library’s computers went down the week before the election and didn’t come back up until after the mid December, I found that several audio books are on youtube and a series I listened to before, the library didn’t have all the books, so now I started from book #1 and I’ll go in order- it’s funny because book #1 and 2 said “flip this cassette over to keep listening” ha, my kids have never seen cassette tapes! Oh and you wanna know what series it is? It’s called the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, it’s about this woman who becomes a bounty hunter and then gets help from different guy friends and also pure luck and intuition) It’s a funny series and there’s a bit of “romance” in there too.
So while I listen to these I’ve made a few things
a friend/ fellow quilt designer was asking for tiny nine patch blocks for a new design, I cut out mine with the accuquilt die, so it was easy!
Then I made these 9 patches and sent to her. (plus a little gift)
I’m also working on a new pattern- a scrappy quilt with LOTS of tiny pieces, of course I’m always using the Accuquilt dies, here it’s the 6″ QUBE set
a whole pile of light and dark green and light and dark purple, we’ll see how it turns out!
I always need pattern testers BTW if you want to be one email me and I’ll add you to my email pattern list.
I also recently got NEW iron on and sew in labels! I found a shop on etsy and she made these custom ones from my logo, the large one for ironing onto the back of my quilts, the skinny ones for sewing into a seam of something like stuffed animals or bags etc.
The shop name is Boodybabies
We are in a mess right now. the whole country is! Just pray it doesn’t get to bad .
And I love her books! Laugh out loud books
Hello desde argentina….me encantaría estar en tu lista de probadores de patrones….gracias
Hi Bea
Is that 9 patch die cut a separate pice? Love your colors!
Have you tried the iron on labels yet? How well do they hold up?
