No real news about my husband other than we got the PET scan scheduled for next week and the Oncologist for March 17th, which seems like such a long time away! The stress of waiting is terrible! I’m sure we might see the results of the PET scan a day or two later and have to google and figure out what it all means and then wait 10 days before knowing what the treatment plan will be.

We still have lingering effects of whatever cold/flu that was going around… first Sonja, then Solveig a bit, then Anja, I had a sore throat for a few days and Dan never got anything, maybe that’s because he’s taking ivermectin! ha ha… though he never gets sick when something is going thru the house.

I do try to sew a bit every day, just as a stress relief, but my pile of quilt patterns to be written, is a mile long! I just don’t have the mental energy to deal with that nowadays. Though it’s an odd feeling, it’s like we’ve accepted the situation and just go thru the days kind of numb or complacent, we try to do family stuff together, but also normal day to day stuff. In two weeks we’re going to the beach for a few days, that’s something we had planned a while ago and we’re keeping the reservation, I also think because who knows if it’ll be our last time! So sad to think about!

Dan is not in pain or anything, the only thing is be goes to the bathroom several times a night and he has this occasional mild cough, nothing bad sounding, but of course I’m thinking the cancer spread to his lungs, every time he coughs… I guess the PET scan should show it….which just sets the TIMER to even less survival time!
