What a whirlwind of a week!

I went with my husband to a new doctor- he felt back at church about a month ago and I took him to urgent care and they found nothing wrong but said he needs to find a regular doctor and scheduled one for him- he hasn’t gone in maybe 6 years!

Anyways, he’s had prostate problems the last year or so and it just got worse, the last year we sort of ignored it with him taking care of his parents all the stress. So we finally went Wednesday and they did a physical exam and a PSA blood test and the doctor said Dan had a large prostate and prescribed meds, then a few hours later he CALLED Dan and said his PSA count was way high! normal is 0-4, high is 10 and Dan’s was 250!! That most likely means cancer!! So we quickly got referred to a CT scan (Friday-yesterday- I’m scheduling this post ahead of time), urologist appointment Monday and prostate MRI at the end of February! Dan thinks it’s the worse, that it IS cancer and it’s spread….of course we’re both googling it and it doesn’t look good, now it’s a matter of what stage it’s at! If stage 1-2 even 3 is very curable but stage 4 is not! I’m already thinking about being a widow!! we had wanted to grow old together, see all our kids grow up and get married and have kids! Now that might not happen!! just Pray for us! we know God’s in control and it’s HIS will, but it’s still so hard and it sucks!!

So I don’t know how much I’ll get posted here from now on, I do want to sew still and it’s a stress relief for me! I’ll keep you all posted!!
