Sickness hit our house this week,

actually I don’t know if Sonja started it when she was sick a week ago or it was our dog sitter who was sick with covid after watching Chewy two weeks ago, then she saw us a week ago outside and we talked but were downwind from her, either way it hit Dan first then me, sore throat and fever, I think Dan was sick for a day though and I never have a fever but got it this time, around 101! even when we all got covid 3 years ago I was the only one who didn’t get a fever. Fevers suck!

 

Last Thursday, Bjorn picked up two kittens we had seen at the county animal shelter the weekend before, they had to get spayed before he could take them home so it took a few days, they are 5month old orange kitten girls and so cute!!

He named them Saffron and Mange, Saffron is a bit darker and very playful, Mango hid behind stuff for several days, would sneak out to eat and drink and use the litter box, then hide again, but Saffron is so playful!

I think it’ll be good for Bjorn to have the company and something to take care of 🙂

 

About grandma, Friday hospice came again and grandma’s vitals are bad, she needs oxygen and then we had “the talk” about end of life care, morphine etc…. it’s all very overwhelming! She’s declining rapidly. (And yes, two weeks ago or maybe it was a month ago she was on antibiotics for a UTI but it didn’t help her delirium)
